Capability matrix
Built for on-device database work
Save connections, open a workspace, and preview data with pagination and optional filters. Traffic goes from your device to the database host you chose, not through SudoCod.
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB
- Save connections with engine icons on a home dashboard. Host, port, user, optional database, and SSL mode (default Require).
- Database workspace
- Object tree plus Data and Structure tabs. Browse schemas, tables, and views with column types and nullability.
- Paginated data preview
- Viewport-sized pages with row counts, first/previous/next/last controls, optional SQL WHERE filters, and tap-to-expand cells.
- Phone & tablet layouts
- Navigation drawer on phone; NavigationRail and collapsible tree on tablet (720dp+). Refresh reloads the selected table or the object tree.
- Test connection
- Verify JDBC connectivity before saving. Failures show a safe on-screen message; diagnostics stay in device logs, never with your password.
- Keystore-encrypted passwords
- Database passwords use Android Keystore AES-GCM, stored separately from metadata, and excluded from Auto Backup.
- All-databases browse
- Leave the database field blank to browse every database on the server when you open the workspace.
- Offline Pro cache
- Last confirmed Play entitlement is cached on-device for offline use and re-checked with Google when you are online.
Workflow
How it works
- 01
Add a connection
Enter host, credentials, and SSL mode. Test before save. Passwords stay encrypted on device.
- 02
Open the workspace
Tap a connection tile. Pick a table or view from the object tree.
- 03
Browse & filter
Preview paginated rows, apply optional WHERE filters, and inspect structure without sending data to SudoCod.

FAQ
- Does SudoCod see my databases?
- No. Connections, passwords, and query results stay on your device or go directly to the database hosts you configure. SudoDB does not proxy traffic through SudoCod servers.
- Which engines are supported?
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB over JDBC from your device.
- Is it a subscription?
- Yes. SudoDB Pro is a yearly auto-renewing plan via Google Play (product sudodb_pro, base plan sudodb-pro-yearly, trial offer sudodb-yearly-14d-trial) with a 14-day free trial for eligible users. Price loads from Play Billing and may vary by country. Pro is required to use connections and the workspace. Cancel in Google Play subscription settings.
- What happens after a device backup?
- The offline Pro cache, connection database, and encrypted password store are excluded from Auto Backup. After restore, re-check Play for Pro and re-add connections.
