Capability matrix
Built for one-tap ops
Add your servers, create labeled macros, and run shell commands with a single tap. View logs after each run. Private, on-device control.
- One-tap SSH macros
- Labeled buttons with icon, color, and command. Run shell actions without opening a full terminal.
- Password & key auth
- Connect with password or private-key authentication for the hosts you manage.
- Local encrypted secrets
- Credentials stay encrypted on the device. No Bash Board cloud account for your macros.
- TOFU host keys
- First successful connect pins the SSH host key. Later connections fail closed if it changes.
- Per-macro timeouts
- Set a command timeout per macro (default 30s, range 5–3600s).
- Execution logs
- See success / failure feedback plus last-run stdout, stderr, and exit code.

How it works
- 01
Add a server
Save host, port, username, and password or private key. Credentials stay encrypted on device.
- 02
Create a macro
Give it a label, icon, color, and the command you run all the time.
- 03
Tap to run
One tap executes over SSH. Check the log when you need the details.
Operators
Who it's for
- Homelab and self-hosted ops
- Restarting services, clearing caches, routine admin tasks
- Anyone who wants quick SSH actions without opening a full terminal every time
Security highlights
- No Bash Board cloud account for macros
- Encrypted on-device credentials (Android Keystore; iOS Keychain planned)
- TOFU SSH host-key pinning on Android; fail closed on change
- SSH traffic only to hosts you add
- Android app backup disabled; credentials, host keys, and DB excluded from extraction

FAQ
- Do you store my SSH keys in the cloud?
- No. Hosts, keys, macros, and logs stay on your device. Bash Board does not run a cloud account for your macros.
- Is it a subscription?
- Yes. Bash Board Pro is a yearly auto-renewing plan via Google Play (product bashboard_pro, base plan bashboard-pro-yearly, trial offer bashboard-yearly-14d-trial) with a 14-day free trial when offered. About USD $0.99 per year after the trial (or the local equivalent; may vary by country). On Android, Pro is required to use macros and servers. Cancel in Google Play subscription settings. App Store billing is planned with the same product goals when iOS ships.
- Where does SSH traffic go?
- Only to the hosts you configure. On Android, host keys are pinned on first successful connect (TOFU) and fail closed on change. Play Billing talks to Google for entitlements, never for your macros or credentials.
- Is there an iOS app?
- In progress, with the same local-first goals (Keychain credentials, App Store Pro parity, TOFU host keys). Android is shipping now on Google Play.
