Domain Canary/Terms

Terms of Use: Domain Canary

Effective date: 25 August 2026

Developer: SudoCod (sudocod.com) · App: Domain Canary

These Terms of Use apply to Domain Canary on Android. By using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

Domain Canary is a local-first tool for tracking SSL certificate and domain registration expiry on your device. It is offered by SudoCod. The app does not require a SudoCod account.

Subscriptions (Domain Canary Pro)

Domain Canary may be free to install. Access to the full app is provided through Domain Canary Pro, a paid auto-renewing yearly subscription via Google Play, with a 14-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Price may vary by country or storefront.

  • Billing uses Google Play Billing (product pro_subscription_1, base plan pro-yearly, trial offer trial-14d).
  • Payment and trial eligibility are handled by Google, not by SudoCod directly.
  • Subscriptions renew yearly unless you cancel in Google Play subscription settings before the renewal date.
  • Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a store subscription.

Your responsibilities

  • Use the app only for systems and domains you are authorized to monitor.
  • Treat expiry information as a convenience signal. Confirm critical renewals with your registrar, CA, or hosting provider.
  • Keep your device secure. Anyone with unlocked access may be able to view domains and notes you store in the app.

Store terms

Your use of store billing is also governed by the applicable Google Play terms for your account.

Changes

We may update these terms when the app or subscription model changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
